I am looking at doing a price increase for a large number of parts in our system. We are not currently using price levels so there comes the problem. Unless there is a way to do this within QuickBooks (Enterprise 2009) I would like to export to Excel, do the update to the prices and then import the information back into QuickBooks. Is there a utility or way to do this and what would the cost be? I am on a very tight time so the sooner you can let me know the better. Thank you for your assistance with this!
Go to Lists > Items List, click on the Activities and select Change Item Prices. You can also export your item list to Excel by going to File > Utilities > Export > Lists to IIF Files and select Item List. You can make your changes and then import it back the same way. QuickBooks Enterprise 2010 also has a nifty Add/Edit Multiple List Item Entries feature that we just love, love, love - but it’s not available in 2009.
If we helped solve your problem, please consider posting a review for us!
