I have a lawyer client that uses the Timer add on program to bill clients. The information is imported to QuickBooks and the billing is produced. Upon review time the invoice time is reduced or increased depending on the situation. The import report in QuickBooks is very cumbersome, and is sorted by client, not by employee. Client would like to be able to get a report in QuickBooks that shows the Item, Item cost, employee name and hours that is imported from the timer add on once it has been imported? Do you have any suggestions?
The time reports are probably a good place to start. They're in Reports > Jobs, Time & Mileage. There are are two Time by Job reports (Summary and Detail), as well as a Time by Name and a Time by Item report.
