Do You Need to Upgrade to QuickBooks 2011?

Hi, someone asked me something that I think I know the answer to, just wanted to verify it. She runs QuickBooks PRO 2010 w/ payroll – to keep that program current it just needs the standard updates – she does not need 2011 or to get a whole new app each year – correct? Are there any cannot live without features in 2011? Thanks.
Intuit sunsets its software after 3 years, so she won't need to upgrade until 2013 (probably in May). She will, however, need an annual payroll subscription.

Here are the new features in 2011. I really like it, but it’s not worth upgrading unless one of them is compelling to you: http://quickbooks.intuit.com/pro/whats-new/
