How to Add Undeposited Funds to a Previous Deposit in QuickBooks

Oops, I messed up. Please help! I have a friend that deposited one more check then he showed on his deposit slip. How do I go about adding the undeposited funds to a previous deposit, so my banking records stay correct and do not mess up my QuickBooks?
Open the deposit, then select the Payments button. This will open the Payments to Deposit window. Select the payment you want to add to your deposit by placing a check mark next to it, and then OK.
