How to Add Markups in QuickBooks

Can I set up a markup matrix in QuickBooks? I want to have different mark ups for different cost ranges.

You can try using Price Levels, but I don’t think it’s going to do what you want.

You can set a markup in the inventory item itself by selecting the Edit Markup button. Or you can export your item list to Excel, add a calculation column, copy paste it into the Sales Price column and delete the calculation column.

In the long run, using Edit Markup will save you time because you can set it to automatically adjust the sales price based on a % of amount over cost.
